Local joinery, done properly
GT Joinery is a sole trader joinery business based in Horncastle. Antonio has years of hands-on experience across new build work, extensions, restoration and renovation projects, and offers all aspects of joinery and carpentry – from structural roofing and first fix through to staircases, doors, skirting and the finishing touches.
Because GT Joinery is a one-man business, the person who prices your job is the person who turns up to do it. That means straight answers, clear communication and work you can see the care in – whether it’s a single door that won’t close or the joinery for a whole extension.

Full stair replacement & new garage doors
A recent job that has made a real difference to the house: an old open-tread staircase replaced with a new pine staircase, balustrade and landing, and a tired up-and-over garage door swapped for a pair of painted timber side-hung doors with black ironmongery.
The staircase was made to measure by JS Joinery and fitted by GT Joinery, with the newel posts, spindles and handrails set out and finished on site.

What types of joinery work do you take on?

Do you work for builders and businesses as well as homeowners?
Yes. GT Joinery takes on both domestic and commercial work, and is happy to work alongside builders, developers, landlords and other trades on site.
What’s the difference between a joiner and a carpenter?
Traditionally a joiner makes and prepares timber components (often in a workshop) while a carpenter builds and fits with timber on site. In practice most joiners do both – GT Joinery covers structural carpentry such as roofs and floors as well as finer joinery like staircases, doors and fitted furniture.
